RESISTANCE TRAINING
**You will be watching the replay of the event that occured on March 13th.**
Any form of resistance gets you into the class. Not everyone can donate money to some of the organizations on the front line of immigration, climate and civil liberties. The original post was about showing solidarity with Ukraine. And thanks to so many of you, I believe we made a difference.
The class will focus on building resilience, coping skills and striking the balance of combatting hate with compassion and action. We will be creating our own personal armor because different forms of resistance require different resources.
This is an extended Defense Against the Dark Hearts mixed with some conversational hypnotic tricks for going offensive. That’s right. It’s time to use the force.
How else can you help? Sharing info on the boycotts, protesting in the streets or on your social media page also count. Sharing this video will also get you in.
Stopping bullying when you see it, knowing your rights and standing in the way of ICE if they come to your school, hospital or apartment building by asking for warrants, ID and for them to call the supervisors.
Sometimes resistance is speaking up in church, at the dinner table, board meeting or anywhere else serving up a plate of racist bullshit.
For me, I’ve been making calls using 5calls.org where you can go, get the numbers of your representatives with scripts as well as topics on the table and become part of the incessant voice of dissent.
Donate to Earthjustice to help the lawyers fighting his fucked up rollbacks on climate policy.
Donate your time, energy or money to the National Immigration Justice Center. Know how to protect and fight for your neighbors.
Be a constant thorn in the side of your elected officials.
Silence=complicity
Speak out! Let’s start our own project 2025. The world is watching.
